Singer, guitarist, songwriter Wendy De Rosa has a knack for the catchy hooks, while her memorable melodies float on powerful rhythms. Her lyrics are enticing, honest, captivating and meaningful. Her songs are beat driven, and she alone has kept a room dancing while opening for a full band. Wendy was born and raised in Bridgeport, CT into a musical family of 8 children. In 1995 she moved to Colorado, where her music career blossomed. She has been performing around the Front Range of Colorado for several years, opening for national artists such as Merl Saunders, Melissa Ferrick and Patrice Pike (Sister 7). She has also shared the stage with regional favorites Wendy Woo, Liza Oxnard (Zuba), Nina Storey and Libby Kirkpatrick. Wendy's been honored to play prominent venues such as The Fox Theatre, The Boulder Theater and Tulagi in Boulder, as well as The Gothic Theater, The Soiled Dove and Herman's Hideaway in Denver.
